Tests....

Went to hospital this AM for my EKG, abdominal ultrasound, chest Xray, and bone density test. They said they would send results to my surgeons office this afternoon. So next Tuesday I go for phs evaluation, and the following week is the test to check for bacteria. I have to breath in a bag, drink some stuff wait 15 minutes and blow on another bag. Once that's done and surgeon gets reports and signs off on it they will send it all to insurance then I will get a date!!!

Wow you have to had to have a lot of stuff done! That's exciting you soon will have a date! Awesome!

I'm thinking that I wish I had to do the blow in the bag thing rather than the edoscopy that I had. The endoscopy wasn't really all that bad after the fact, but leading up to it I was quite nervous. During the endoscopy they look around your stomach and entrance into the small intestine. They also took a little piece for a biopsy. I don't know if one is better than the other, but the bag thing sounds much less stressful to me.

I've done all the rest of the stuff and now my surgeon's office has all the results so 3/26 I should be good to go. During the ultrasound they did find gall stones so I'll have the gallbladder removed at the same time. I was actually kind of hoping for that since so many people that lose weight rapidly develop them anyway.
