Just an FYI in case you didn't know.......
Donuts don't cure anything even if they are from Krispy Kreme. I pulled a muscle or something in my neck/shoulder last week giving my dog a bath and after a week of intense pain that nothing seemed to help I tried the donut remedy, which was fun for about a minute while I ate it and miserable for about an hour while I felt queasy and sick although it is an easily forgotten hour because I ate another one. Yeah I was having a big ole pity party and just added to the pain in my neck with another in my stomach. I guess some bad habits never die. Back on my diet today so the damage wasn't too bad. In case anyone didn't know donuts aren't the cure all I thought I would post.
I almost tried that remedy this past Saturday night....but they were out of the little munchkins from Dunkin Donut (thank god). After a hellaious fight with my Mom, I really struggled but I made it...made me even madder that I thought that'd fix it...I did enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee from there and let my son have a donut. So, the next day I went and bought REALLY nice pair of sunglasses for summer, felt like I deserved it and it was retail therapy. LOL Things are better but the tension is still there....not good when you live with that person. Hang in there!! I'm right there with you.

It's funny I love DD iced tea and bagels but their donuts taste so greasy to me I can't eat even a bite. We have DD donuts around all the time they don't bother me at all. The Krispy Kreme donuts came from a failed attempt to take the dogs to the dogpark, my first choice wasn't plowed with two feet of snow blocking the driveway, the second choice got virtually no snow and was a muddy mess and washing the dog is what got me in this position. I called my boyfriend and he said well don't make it a totally wasted trip get a dozen KK donuts. lol That just shows the strangeness of New England weather, a couple inches of snow in the southern town I work in, 16 inches 20 miles inland.
I hope your neck/shoulder feels better. Arnica cream/gel works great. Treat yourself to a massage, you deserve it!!!
I hope you are feeling better, Heidi!! Thanks for the PSA. Yep. Some habits never die. It's a daily battle for me, but one worth fighting.
I just bought a new scale and it weighs 7 pounds heavier than my old one. Oh, hell, no!! Now I need to lose 7 pounds!!

haha... I did think of that, but it was a gift from my brother. I will just lose the 7 pounds. I'll admit I'm a slave to the scale.
