I have missed this post! I started working so I have been a diligent employee about surfing the web but things are getting way strange around here and not sure how much longer any of us will have a job. So, while it's paid the bills....I hope I can find something soon and get more steady employment.

Really working on tracking and watching what I eat after that episode on Tuesday and man I feel better. I think the head hunger is kicking in and while i'm trying to watch the carbs, I still loads of room for improvement.

B- 1/2 cup of no sugar added grapefruit, special k breakfast sandwich
S- Great Value Trail Mix (3 Tablespoons)
L- Not sure...looking for just protein alternatives (didn't bring lunch so maybe Moe's? joey jr, without rice or the wrap
S- Yogurt
D- Craving some Taco casserole...it's been months since i've had it and I'm ready to cook and freeze some for lunches! Gotta start cutting back somewhere financially and this will help me health wise too!

I've been very good lately at planning breakfast (which, to be fair, has been the same every weekday since probably 6 mos. post-op) and lunch but not dinner. Sigh. I'll get it together one day.

1. Click Frap

2. Buffalo Tuna sandwich (on wheat bread), half an apple

3. A string cheese, other half of apple

4. Quest chocolate chip cookie dough bar before workout

5. Ummmmmm...dinner? (I dunno but I want something with meat and gravy)

For some reason, I am really into cereal the past couple of days -- I've also been needing the fiber (TMI) so I'm glad the craving came when it did.

B - Fiber One Honey Clusters (tastes sweet but only 6 g sugar per serving and 13 g of fiber) with light soy milk

S - Decaf vanilla protein coffee

L - 2 oz RF cheddar cheese (I just found Cabot extra light at the store!  75% reduced fat, only 60 calories and 9 g of protein per ounce!), Dannon Light and Fit Greek pinapple yogurt mixed with 1/2 cup Fiber One Original

S - Strawberry Cheesecake Quest bar

D - Fiber One Honey Clusters with light soy milk (or maybe something else, but I'm really craving the cereal!)

990 calories and 94 grams of protein for the day.  Lots of carbs in the cereal, but mostly good carbs with plenty of fiber.

After work I will head home to feed and potty our dogs and then I will hit the gym for 35 minutes on the elliptical and 10-15 on the recumbent bicycle.  My husband has to work late this evening so I will probably go online and check out Facebook and maybe play poker at Full Tilt while I wait for him to get home.

Well doctors appointment tonight to talk about tummy issues,  Hopefully they can figure out something. I have been living on Pepto and Gas-X but this morning I realized that Pepto has salycitates in it and I wonder if we are supposed to have that (same ingredient as aspirin???).  Anyway, here's to fixing tummy troubles!

 

PreB: coffee (needed it to fend off migraine) with (GASP) real sugar.  I am fending off fake sweetner for awhile

B: 2 eggs over and a piece of toast

S: a pop tart (and boy did I pay for that!)

L: lasagna made with dreamfields pasta and lots of veggies, ground turkey, and lf cheeses

S: either FF greek yogurt or string cheese

D: ??? have the appointment so probably something quick like subway

LNS: a couple of homemade chocolate chip cookies and skim milk

 

See how much you can eat at four years out!?  Scary stuff and I didn't believe people when I was out the first few years, thought they were crazy!! LOL



20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.
