Good to know about the sale.  I called the  GNC. around the corner and he verified the kinds they have but didn't tell me they were on sale.  I will call back in the morning to check it out.  Your two favorites were on my list.  Especially the lemon one.

I bought the variety pack, online, without having tasted them prior to the purchase.  They are very dense and I can only eat half.  Most of the flavors that I've tried are very good.  For some reason, though, the banana nut (which is the 13th bar that they threw into my order) tastes like fish?  It smells funny and tastes like yucky fish.  I love fish, but this is just weird.  I thought it might be the one bar, but when I opened the other banana nut bar, it was the same.  I can eat bananas and nuts, but these things are just gross!  Oh, I had my daughter taste it and she didn't taste the fish, so it's just me and my change in tastes?
Other than that, I've enjoyed them...usually warmed in the oven or microwave is best.
