Well, like you I made a choice except my choice was the band and not the gastric bypass. I believed I was well informed.....gave the band my all and like many on this site I'm getting a revision.

After 5 years of unsuccessful weight loss with the band, GERD, early stages of Lymphodemia and a hernia........I got approved with no issues for a revision to have my band removed and convert to a RNY.

Not everyone decides to get the RNY or other procedures first hand...I wished I did...but I didn't.

We all make decisions regarding our health and we do what's in our best interest.  I have an amazing medical team a WakeHealth and like you I look forward to reaching my weight loss goal.
