Antibiotics - 3 mo out
I've been fighting a sinus infection for nearly a week. Called my PCP and he called in a scrip. I picked it up about an hour ago. PCP and nurse both knew I had RNY. I'm supposed to take two 500 mg amoxicillin twice a day. 1000 mg twice a day. I have a call in to my surgeon, but the service didn't think he'd call me back tonight. Any thoughts? If the worse is the runs, then I'm ok with that.

Are you wondering if it's safe to take that antibiotic after RNY? Yes, unless you're allergic to it or something. But RNY doesn't cause any problems with any antibiotics.
