Update on a post I made about a week ago
About a week ago I posted that I was frustrated with myself because I knew I was not getting in enough fluids or proteins and still not sure if I was taking exactly what I needed vitamin wise. Most of yall told me to think of it like a job and to put my big girl panties on. Well Im happy to say I am. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and bout lots of fruits and veggies, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, and different nuts. Then I portioned it all out and put them into little baggies. One of my issues is that I am truely not hungry. So it wasnt convenient to go and make something in the kitchen if I wasnt hungry. Well yesterday I made it convenient. Then I decided to make a schedule like some of you also suggested for workouts, water intake, vitamins, snacks, and meals. This morning I got up had a bottle of water took my vitamins and went to the gym to swim for 45 minutes. I got home had another bottle of water then had lunch. Which was tuna fish and instead of crackers I used cucumber slices. My mind was blown the whole time I was eating it. So pretty much for the rest of the day I have planned snacks and when I need to grab a bottle of water. Also I have a Drs. appointment at 1:45 for labs so we can see where I am with all my levels and go from there to see what I need to be taking vitamin wise. I just wanted to say thanks for the kick in the butt. Also as of today I am 4 months and 3 days out :) starting weight 370 and today 292
That's awesome Amber. Glad to see you are doing and feeling much better. Once I started eating, I felt like eating. It was like my body didn't really want anything, but once I woke it up and reminded it how good it was to eat, it was ready to go. I haven't had any issues with the water but I was a very big water drinker before surgery. You are doing fantastic with the weight loss as well! Keep up the good work.
