Last appointment done...Insurance waiting?

I had my last NUT appt and I'm done with my checklist. Now it's time to wait for it to be sent to insurance. My doctor's office said my insurance will have up to 30 days to make a decision although they said it normally does not take long. I have Tricare Prime. How long did you all have to wait for the approval?

I have PCIP (Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan) and my doctor does the approval backwards. However, mine only took 2 days :)

You can give them a few days to process it, and then call and check on it. I knew it was approved before my doctor did.

I also have tri care prime. It took two days to get my approval!!

Sign up online for your region. I knew I was approved before my surgeon knew! 

I am signed up on my region for referrals and authorizations. I'm hoping that since my last appointment was today that my surgeon's office will be able to get all the info to Tricare by the middle of next week... Do you think that's reasonable??

And two days from Tricare too? That's really amazing!

My info was submitted 2-3 days after my last needed appt. so, middle of next week seems reasonable.

I am also waiting on insurance. I got my approval from the dietician for the insurance submittal on Monday, April 22. The office didn't submit that day...they submitted Friday of that week, April 26. They also told me the insurance has 30 days to submit and told me they will call my insurance every week to make sure it's still in process and the insurance company isn't missing anything from them. I am still waiting after hearing nothing the first week but I have BCBC TX. Good luck! I see you live in the same state as I do.
