Soooo excited May 9th i resume a NORMAL DIET! What do you eat?
May 9th i see my dietician for my next phase which i believe is back to normal foods. Right now i am still soft foods. I cannot wait to have ground turkey, veggies, protein bars, etc again... i haven't eaten any of that in over 2 months! I want a salad or turkey meatballs or something homemade the possibilities are endless as long as i prepare it at home so i KNOW what's in it! When you all went back to a normal diet what did you start eating immediately? It's going to be so great to grab a protein bar or something on the run. I need to start looking at bariatric recipes! I want healthy of course =)
I just found out at four weeks I can start adding real food to my diet. I am excited to trade a protein shake for a protein bar! Things like tuna, tiny pieces of chicken, etc. were suggested. Lots of people here eat Wendy's chili. Ha, I never thought I could be so excited over a piece of turkey! I travel a lot for work and this will be so much easier.
Why can't you have ground turkey now? It's soft.
Anyway, I eat all kinds of things. Yesterday I ate a protein bar, some cheese, a root beer float protein shake, and a veggie cantina bowl from Taco Bell. Oh, and some Greek yogurt. I also eat pizza once in a while, sandwiches once in a while, lots of salad, fresh fruit, veggies, beans, chili, veggie burgers, an occasional egg, Chipotle burrito bowls, toast once in a while, all sorts of things. The only things I don't eat at all are meat and stuff high in sugar.
