help stuck pill and pain!

I am 9 weeks out.. earlier i know i swallowed a pill bigger than i should have it went down eventually. I take stool softeners everyday and i took one about 20 min ago.. it seemed to go down fine as usual. All of a sudden nausea and heartburn it's STUC****ep burping and i haven't been able to vomit it up. It's a softgel. I am having irritation in my throat and saliva keeps coming up also my medicine from earlier that i did crush "powder" is burning my throat too.. i tasted that coming back up. What can i do now i feel it stuck in my chest!

You might try SLOWLY sipping some warm tea to help it melt faster.

I agree, a bit of slowly sipped hot tea can help dissolve the pill faster. Also, you are in the prime window for a stricture in which scar tissue tightens the stoma. Keep an eye on how your body responds to food and drink. If things that you could previously tolerate be difficult to get down, definitely run it by your surgeon.

I woke up today still feeling something lodged. My chest, hurts and my mouth is dry. My leg is still hurting really badly too

I don't know what to say except I'm really sorry this is happening to you. Did you try the hot tea? And it would be a Sunday!

Another possibility --- you created an area of inflammation with the pill yesterday? Is that possibly what you're feeling?

Sometimes the pill has passed through but it feels like it is still there. Keep sipping tea!
