Why can some days i feel restriction and others not really?
This has been going on a few weeks now. I am 10 weeks post op. Some days i eat and get full usually bloated and hiccups... all though today was new.. i burped within a few minutes of taking my 5th bite of chicken i got at applebees love the under 550 menu. I barely ate but burping hasn't been my cue all along mostly the hiccups have.
Also my hiccups are delayed like minutes within bites when i am full i get them does anyone else have that happen? How many minutes do you wait between bites? Sometimes i honestly forget i had this surgery when i feel great.
My pouch seems to take things day by day some of those days i eat more than others... but i am fortunate that nothing i have tried has made me sick i tolerate everything except pineapple. Also does everyone eyeball things at restaurants? Obviously you cannot measure there.
I also have what I call big pouch days where I am able to get more in. I was told early out that it was pretty common. I've always weighed and measured food and only on the big pouch days am I able to get in the full amount of dense protein that I'm allowed.
I get the hiccups or a runny nose whenever I am full and it varies according to what I was eating or how my pouch felt that meal. I just chew my food really well between bites and stop before I get full-but definitely when I hiccup or get a watery nose. I do not want to get sick.
Yes I eyeball things at the restaurants. I normally ask for a go box upon the arrival of my food and cut it in half. Then, I start with protein first and veggies next with carbs last. I usually have to put more food in my box after eating.
Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK!
