Canada's Wonderland
So I KNOW that people have posted about this, but I didn't find enough stories to really put my mind at ease. My husband got us Season Passes to Canada's Wonderland. While he isn't fat, I am. So horribly fat. I'm 288 (I think I haven't weighed myself in a month) and I'm 5'3". Sadly ALL of my weight is in my breasts and belly. No butt and no hips. I was wondering which rides should I be cautious of? I don't know how big my hips are or waist approx, but I'm a size 24/26 US/CN.
I usually don't admit this in public forums, but I'm scared. Really scared. I LOVE rollercoasters and haven't been on in 3 years. I don't wanna get my hopes up and have them crash down.
When I was 250-60 I had a hard time with Cyclone. They just put me the 'the fat seat'. But being 30-20 pounds heavier, I'm worried that I won't fit on any rollercoaster at all. And I really want to try Leviathan. Any success stories?
Hi There....I felt compelled to reply. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't believe you will be able to ride many of the coasters at Wonderland. It is not "size" friendly. We were there this past weekend, and I was asked to get off of a ride because the seatbelt wouldn't fit around me, and I am approx size 18-20. There are "test" cars you can try to see if the lap belt will close, however they are out in plain sight of the other riders....
There are other rides you can do such as the vortex, italian job, the boat ride, etc.
Thank you for the honest answer. That's really what I needed to hear. I will gladly test put the seats. I think, in my mind, people will be too distracted by the awesomeness of the ride than watching me test a seat. Hopefully my bravery will help me with that XD On the plus side, I lost 4 pounds! Woohoo 184! But I guess it really depends on where your fat is proportioned because when I was a 20/22, I fit on everything. So HOPEFULLY I still fit... Thank you again!
