What can i do for exercise with leg injury?

I hurt my leg somehow we still don't know how but i have physical therapy starting Monday. My leg hurts very badly in fact so bad it hurts to even walk without pain medication. So what can i do for exercise during this time while i am allowing my leg to heal? Hoping someone can give me some ideas because i still need to do something and i am clueless.

Get some some hand weights to do some strength straining for your upper body. There are also work-out videos for people that have to sit in a chair do to things such as this.  Make sure you stay up with your pain meds and don't let the pain get a head of you, because you need to keep it under control.  As far as anything below the waist is kind of out for right now until you heal.  Go to Youtube and they have all types of work-outs for people doing just upper body. When you go in Monday for therapy, ask them if there is anything you can do. Good luck!  Jane

WORK YOUR ARMS, ABS, & WAIST! See if you can use weights or bands for your arms and do crunches for abs and twists for waist. Be creative! MOVING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!
