Does anyone make their own turkey jerky? If so how? We have a machine that dries fruit and meats. A dehydrator is it? Well after paying $8+ for 3 oz. of turkey jerky my husband wants to make our own. Is this feasible?

I haven't made turkey jerky but do make my beef jerky. It's cheaper and doesn't have perservatives in it. You can make it in you dehydrator or your oven. Good luck.

How do you season it?

I just made a batch of beef jerky.  I used soy sauce, worcheshire sauce, balsamic vinegar,  yellow mustard, tabassco and a little sugar.  Came out great. :)
