Hernia op yesterday
Had my hernia op yesterday, all went well, it was quite big but we knew that and the area in general was fairly damaged from all the drains and surgeries which is why it was done 'open',came around from the anaesthesia really well and was back in my room by 4 pm- this is where it gets weird, I haven't been able to get to sleep since then, I was up all last night and so far all today( it's 1.30 in the afternoon) I feel tired but when I try to get to sleep I'm wide awake again.
should be in here for another couple of days as long as everything stays on track,I have a drain in which is still draining alot but had my drip taken down this morning and at this point I'm just usi g Panadol for pain relief.
