Wow, what a bunch of comments from people with no clue! Unfortunately people that are closed minded and ignorant do believe the fallacy that WLS is the quick fix and easy way out. That is why I love this forum and all of you. We are all working very hard to improve our health and lives. I know that this was the best decision for me and I have no regrets!!!!!

Definitely not the easy way out as most say it is, it's actually a lot harder. I did the healthy eating and working out and got nowhere. Had the surgery last year, and followed the plan to a T and lost over a 136 pounds so far.

yeah the comments will **** you off of you read them especially the ones by this troll Melissa. It was a good story. I have to admit tha years ago I used to think that surgery was the easy way out and all people have to do is move their bodies. That was until I begin experiencing health issues that made it impossible for me to lose weight. I feel once the shoe is on the other foot one's point of view will be enlightened. And yes this surgery does have risks but remaining morbidly obese does too which is why I decided to have surgery in July. I want to be able to look back and say at least I did try to get healthier. I want to lower my risk of developing obese related illnesses.
