3 weeksand 3 days post op, feel hungry?

Had surgery May 7, was in the hospital 7 days, complication due to anthestic, colon was sleeping. On IV's 6 days then full liquids4 more days. I am on 2oz of two purée, sometimes, I am still hungry, is this head hunger and missing regular unsure food? Sometimes I am stuffed, I also drink 3 protein a day, count all liquids toward 64oz, should I not do this? I am on purges to June 13, when I see my Dr., then I will go to soft, the Dr. Said it will be 4 months till I can go on what is called our eg diet, any imput, maybe it is head hunger, so far have tolerated, purée chicken, hamburger,fish, turkey and baby ham, does this mean as I read, I won't when
I go to soft where u chew. Any imput is appreciated.

I'm 7 weeks our and just now starting to feel a little hunger. NOTHING like I felt before. When I was that early out, I never felt hungry or full. I just didn't care anything about food. Sometimes I would see things that looked or sounded good (head hunger), but if it was in front of me, I wouldn't want it.
