good luck

I use 2 tablespoons of benefiber(generic/Walmart) in my decafe every morning AND 1 generic colace (stool softener) with each calcium dose.
I am almost 11 months out and still deal with constipation if I veer off my routine. I maintain 60-80 or more oz of fluids daily. I use fruits and veggies and some high fiber carbs (brown rice, kashi cereal). I exercise routinely. For me, the benefiber and stool softener do the trick. If I get off routine, MOM will get me going again.

I do miralax daily once a day 2 capfuls plus i do 2-3 colace a day. When i still am desperate and have issues i do a saline enema.

I am 8 weeks post-op and have had severe constipation (was also a problem pre-surgery).  I tried MOM, stool softeners, Miralax, and glycerin suppositories.  Nothing.  Went to gastro, and he recommended Senna.  That has worked, but I need to take them every few days.  He said take 2-4 per dosage.  I take 1 and that seems to do the trick, but I have to take them a couple times a week.  He said to add more fiber to diet, but that is hard to do at this stage.
