Sharing my success and NSV's! Some pictures too
Today i weighed myself and i have lost 2 lbs just about since 3 days ago.. 1.6lbs since last night. I've been focusing hard core on my water and protein and getting almost all of my water in 8 cups only took almost 4 months but finally! I do have gastritis though which was making it hard cause it hurt going down but i was on carafate and since it has cleared up pretty much. Well as of today i am 247lbs i am officially down 50 POUNDS since surgery and 154 POUNDS TOTAL.. CRAZY RIGHT? I thought i was losing slow with my tool but i did start at 297 so more of a lightweight the day of surgery... and i have lost 50 lbs before even being 4 months post-op that makes me happy and how i feel puts everything in perspective for me... i think i am right on target for weight loss i mean in less than 4 months i lost 50 lbs heck yeah!!!
As for my NSV i can now fit into size 18's i tried on a few different brands because i was in disbelief. I tried on ON, Talbots women, and coldwater creek they ALL FIT! Tight fit but they FIT! Too add to it i have mostly only been buying shirts because my sister and friend have been hooking me up my friend just gave me her 18's today.. jeans, capri's, cardigans, and some tops all fallish weather now i don't know that they will fit me then but heck i will take it! I can get away with shirts longer than pants. Too add to it my friend is in a size 22 so i am going to give her my huge bag of clothes that is a 22/24 and 3X and 4X shirts.. works out well =)
When i started this journey in October i was 335 lbs so over 60 lbs heavier than her and i think i kind of embarrassed her today because she could not believe i am now smaller than her... everyone is so very happy for me and people are commenting i walk and talk with confidence and i actually smile and laugh now.. allthough i have to work on that for pictures haha. Also my neighbor that i like NEVER talk to but her 5 yr old comes over my house to play with my kids actually called me back today.. i called her earlier to see if her daughter could eat over my house and she asked me "Hey, have you been losing weight"? I said yes she is like i can tell you are very beautiful and you look amazing.. then i was asked if i had surgery and i said yes just a couple of months ago and she said that is awesome she has a friend's daughter who had it at 16 and she knows a lot about it like how difficult eating is and stuff. She invited me to hang out with her. It's crazy the compliments keep flying on in and i am thrilled but wow so overwhelmed. I feel like people treat me more human now too not like i am some animal out of the circus. I keep getting compliments on how much younger i look too. Even though i will be 29 in 6 days *gasp* I have about 97 more pounds i want to lose. All though i want to get to 150 i think based on my height of 5'7 i could be happy at 170 too.

Laura you look totally and absolutely FABULOUS .... the loss is VERY noticeable ... you are BEAUTIFUL ... ... keep up the great work ... 154 pounds total WOW!!!! .... CONGRATS on your awesome success and NSVs and best wishes for a continued awesome journey!!!
