This whole experience has been so hard. I have been feeling nauseous everyday for a wee****ep working on getting my liquids in and now i can have pureed and soft foods. I have been feeling so tired and were moving in 3 weeks so i have allot to do at home. I have little or no energy to get things done. I do try to get my 30 min walks in and that is all i can get done. I know it will get better. On the bright side i have lost 20 lbs! Im a light weight so i have 50 more to lose. I know it will get better just a little overwhelmed right now.

I'm worried about starting my vitamins tomorrow with all the nausea. any ideas how i can take them i got the chewable bariatric vitamins.

I am in the exact same boat, except that we're moving in 4 weeks! Are you taking you B12 vitamins? Once I started those I really noticed a difference in my energy level. Good luck with everything, and hang in there!

I am starting on them today the doc said to take 3 a week. I feel better this morning so far. I took my multi and going to take my calcium and b 12 next. I might put them in my yogurt this morning.( the calcium). Are you on puree and soft now ? Wondering if you have any ideas for meals? Thank you and hope all goes well for you too! So grateful for this forum:)

Why are you only taking the B12 3 times a week? I was instructed by my surgeon to take it every day. I'm still working on the meal thing myself. I eat a lot of light Greek yogurt, string cheese, Wendy's chili, and protein shakes to get my protein in.

It does get easier! I was absolutely miserable the first month. I have had some complications with dehydration, pulmonary embolisms, and hemorrhaging during my period and needing surgery to stop the bleeding. Spent about a month in the hospital since surgery 10 weeks ago.

But I am all better and finally feeling fabulous. And down 72 lbs!!

Wow! I should be so grateful i haven't had any complications so far. Sorry to hear you had it so hard for a whole month! I should really count my blessings and appreciate the blessings in my life. I know it will all get done and i will feel better. I thank you for sharing. Happy for you:) I will keep working on me.

It will get better, I promise. On the vitamins I used Bariatric Fusion Berry flavored the first month and they weren't very good. This month I switched to Optisource Citrus and they are so much better, between those and the cherry flavored sublingual B12 that I take they actually help to settle my tummy.

I didn't have any complications but I was so exhausted for so long after surgery! The first two weeks were the worst. Week three may have been slightly better. After that I did notice more and more improvement. I blamed my exhaustion on eating only about 200 calories a day and not doing very well with protein or vitamins. Now I'm thinking it's just part of the surgery. My doctor warned me I would be tired for a while. Anyway, not only does it get better but soon you will be getting more energy than you had when you started. Good luck with moving!
