Sooo sick should i eat something?

I had my surgery in December of 2012, and I'm 4 pounds away from my goal of 150.  My dietician warned me not to have more than 4 protein bars a week because there's too much sugar in them.  I actually eat 5 a week because they are my midmorning snack at work, but sometimes I notice that I feel nauseous after I eat one for an hour or maybe two.  I am also type 2 diabetic.  I think I do have a reaction from the sugar in the bars - maybe you do too.
