Bummed out ... Sleep apnea

I'm getting rechecked next week. The doctor wanted to wait until I lost 90 pounds and was close to my goal. He warned me in the beginning that I have a small lower jaw and likely would not be cured after losing weight. However he did want me to transition to a dental retainer. I'm not there yet ... but I wonder if that would be an option for you. I can't wait to get off that stupid machine too!
