15 Days Til Surgery!
So, it's official.. I have 15 days until surgery (July 30th)... 15 days seems like forever right? WRONG! I submitted insurance July 1st and was approved the morning of July 2nd. That day they scheduled my surgery and all I could think was that is FOREVER away. I am so impatient. Lol. But now were at July 15th, I go Wednesday for my pre-op appointment to start my liquid diet which I have to do 2 weeks prior to surgery. I am not even worried about the liquid diet, it's not going to be a big shock to me or anything because during March I lost 20lbs on a liquid diet in order to be approved for this surgery. Wow, this has been a long, exhausting journey. I am ready though, I am ready to become a healthier new me. Any last minute tips/advice?
It will be here before you know it! I am on my liquid diet now, and since you have already done it you know what it is like. So, only advice I can offer is just stick to it! I thought I was never going to feel better, but here it is day 7 and I am finally starting to feel a little better. I am not dying to eat what the family eats...it was hard at first, and yes it smells so good and I want a taste, but I am just fine without having it as well.
