So excited to have it removed tomorrow! Can anyone tell me how painful it will be?

Well it was weird.  Pressing internal unnatural grating feeling.  I started squeaking and he said "it's out, it's out". Translation shush!  It comes out fast or mine did.  Such a relief.

I had 2 drains during my lower body lift.  I stressed out about them coming out for a solid week.  It was nothing - a few stitch snips and they slide it right out.  Nothing to worry about.

It felt weird when they took out my drain, but it did not hurt.

Anticipation is the worst part.  I would describe it more like a weird sensation rather than pain.  Try this tip:  place a pillow or towel over your face.  Ask them to count 1, 2, 3.  At number 3, take a large breath inward and then blow out.  By the time you blow out, it will be over.  Walla.

It's just weird, but not really painful. It's really quick. Take and deep breath, and then by the time you let it all out, the drain will be out. I liken it to the sensation to a majorly rumbly intestinal issues or a squirmy baby when pregnant.
