Onederland, and I didn't even know it, and an NSV

So were in the middle of moving from GA to TX and I havent weighed myself in over a month. Went to the Dr today and weighed in at 193.6...I had to do a double take at the scale, I got so excited I made the nurse get my phone so I could take a picture of it. I guess I kind of knew that I would be because last time I had weighed myself I was 201, but its completely different seeing it on the scale. BAMMMMM Im so excited. With the move I havent been able to be in the gym as much as I usually am, but im super excited to get back in there next week once we have our house and everything is settled.

ALSOOOOO, I am a 23 year old stuck in a 65 year old mind set. I am guilty of granny panties, and my husband commented the other night on how it looked like I was wearing a dirty diaper. So i went to Victorias Secret yesterday and got fancy underwear. This in itself is exciting, because Ive never been able to fit into their panties before. So i get L in everything because I just assume thats what size I need, and I get home and try on a pair of the boy short type, and could have gotten a M..granite I have zero butt what so ever. but still. I could have fit into a M....MEDIUM. I dont think ive been in a medium anything since Middle School.

I totally dreaded coming to TX but so far its been full of NSVs and milestones. Maybe ill try to like it :)

GREAT!!!  Congratulations on reaching ONEderland!  Keep up the good work!

As for Texas...well, I'm a Texan.  I live in Florida now, thanks to military moves, but I will always be a Texan at heart.  I don't know where you are, but I hope you LOVE it.  We are taking our annual Texas vacation over the next 2 weeks.  I CAN'T WAIT!  I hope to reach ONEderland while I'm there too!!!

Were in El Paso at Ft Bliss....Im originially from VA. So the lack of green is getting to me. It has deffinetly been a bit of a culture shock. But im trying to embrace it.

I can imagine!  We've lived in VA too.  I grew up in Lubbock (dirt-ville) and also have family in Abilene (dirt plus a few trees).  I visited El Paso when I was a little girl, but that's it.  I hope you can enjoy it while you're there.

West Texas is kinda blah to me. The further east and south you go, the prettier, IMO. I am in the Dallas area.

Texas is one of the places my hubby and I are thinking of moving to when he retires from the military in 2015. I personally an concerned about the heat ( "But its dry heat" he says) and the lack of green I have noticed in my perusing of houses on zilllow. I an from Kentucky , a very green place and currently live in Virginia. We were contemplating the Ft Worth area. What is your opinion on TX so far?

I am looking forward to buying underwear that looks pretty as well, not to menton bras. I'm just hoping I don't end up with the deflated balloon look if you know what I mean. Congrats on reaching Onderland. Stories like yours give un pre-ops hope.
