bariatric advantage chewables at first (4 a day), now I use a generic (walgreens) multi equal to centrum (2 a day)  Just make sure your daily dose is giving you 200% of most vitamins and minerals

I also take 50k dry vit d and a b complex 3x week

chewable iron each evening

sublingual b12 daily

petite calcium citrate generics 2x per day,  Up cal d (powdered calcium/vit d) daily mixed in with a drink, and a calcet chocolate creamy bite daily

I don't use a chewable.  I take a generic similar to centrum that I swallow.  I didn't like any of the chewables I tried.

I agree with not taking the chewables.  I am having such a hard time with the taste. What calcium do you take?

Mostly generic calcium citrate tablets, from Meijer or Walmart or anywhere I find them cheap.

I use Upcal D about once a day, which is a powdered calcium citrate.  I put that in my protein shake.

I also really like the Calcet creamy bites from Celebrate and buy them occasionally, but they are expensive.

I am about 6 weeks away from surgery as long as everything goes as planned. I am currently taking a daily gummy vitamin (generic brand), and 2000 IU vitamin D in the form of 2 small gel caps.

I have my last NUT meeting in about 2.5 weeks. Soon after I'll be meeting with the surgeon, and they have patients start on Bariatric Advantage chewables at that point, but no later than the start of the two week liquid diet prior to surgery.

Considering the high cost of Bariatric Advantage I imagine that once I'm healed, and feeling as normal as things will be I will find chewable vitamins from Costco or something.

My nutritionist gave us samples of liquid Wellesse which is available at Walgreens.  4 bottles - multi, vit. d, B12, iron and calcium.  Don't know how much they cost yet.  My surgeon doesn't want pills swallowed until at least 7 weeks postop.

The Wellesse multi has no minerals, though.  It has no copper, no zinc, no selenium, no manganese, etc.  What does your surgeon want you to take to get those things?
