I'm exactly 5 months post op today.  I pretty much eat normally - lol

I have a lg iced coffee with splenda and skim milk in the morning and I eat either hard boiled egg whites, greek yogurt with almonds, or a protein shake with greek yogurt and frozen fruit

Lunch is usually left overs from dinner the night before - a protein and veggies - usually small salad with chicken or steak in it - I sometimes do chicken salad or egg salad and have a half of a small whole wheat pita - but this is rare

Dinner is chicken, steak, or seafood - with veggies - I add cheese to ALOT of meals also and occasionally will have a little bit of sweet potato

I've been very lucky and able to tolerate pretty much everything I have tried.  I had a few episodes of "foamies" with chicken but I think it may have been too dry - so I make sure I have it moist or have a sauce to dip it in - Walden Farms has calorie free dressings and sauces -

Breakfast EVERYDAY is a protein shake...like Kelly, it is my "coffee" substitute.  I use chocolate flavored protein powder, a bit of instant decaf, a splash of Torani caramel syrup, and almond milk to make a "Faux Caramel Iced Coffee" and it is delicious!

Lunch - almost daily i have 6-8 cold shrimp (frozen bag from wal mart) with a tbsp of coctail sauce and some sort of veggie...cucumbers with vinegar, tomato with a little mozzarella, basil, & balsamic vinegar (Caprese), or even some grilled zucchini.  Today i have two slices of shaved deli roast beef and a caprese salad.

Dinner - i cook for the family and i only eat the protein and sometimes a few veggies. (tonight is our weekly dinner out - we go for Mexican, so i'll have some grilled shrimp and refried beans with a little guacamole)

Snacks -  Dry roasted Edamame, cheese, almonds, occasionally a tbsp of peanut butter with gluten free crackers, greek yogurt, or some sort of fruit.

I've actually become so used to the way i've been eating that it is NOT hard anymore, and i am so thankful!
