Yucky acid reflux

I had my surgery last thurs (the 8th) and notice when I lay down for a bit I wake up with acid in my mouth as if it seeped up from my tummy.

Does this nastiness go away with healing?

Now I now why I always thought my friend always smelled a bit like sour stomach - she must have had reflux from surgery.

I take 2 prevacids a day per doc's request. I'm still on clear phase one stuff which I'm getting very sick of.

It takes Prevacid a few days to start working.  If it continues let your doctor know.  He may need to give you a prescription for something stronger.  He may also want to do an upper GI to make sure everything is working properly still.

Thank you so much. I've got the two week check up in a week, so hopefully it goes away. I don't want the enamel on my teeth to get ruined
