Am I the only one who still totally hates exercising

Goddddddd. For awhile I was doing so well, in the gym 4 to 5 days a week doing 40 minutes of cardio and then arm/leg/ab workouts. I guess when we started moving I quit going because I was trying to get my house packed up and I was visiting family and everything. So now were completely settled in Texas, and Ive already joined a gym, but ive only been twice and I dread the thought of going now. Not because I cant do it, I know i can, but I just dont want to go. period. Id much rather go to Micheals, or Hobby Lobby, or sit at home and play World of Warcraft (dont judge me, i have a pet wolf) which I still have plenty of time to do during the day even after going to the gym. But in my mind the gym is such an inconvenience. Anyone? I know theres people out there that dont follow a strict exercise regiment. Im not even sure what kind of advice im looing for here, just venting my frustration. Ill probably drag myself there after I finish this

I hate it.  I know they say you should find some kind of exercise you enjoy but there is none I enjoy.  Seriously.  If it wasn't for my dog, who insists on walking every day, i would be a total couch potato.

I take my husky to the dog park almost everyday, and for a walk once a day. Wish that walk was enough to make me feel like i was doing something

It depends on the exercise.  One of my weight loss goals was to play Ultimate again so I joined my city's summer recreational league and it's been a blast.  I've found that walking is at least tolerable and I feel good getting at least 10,000 steps every day.

Whats Ultimate? Ultimate Frisbee? Football?

Yes, Ultimate Frisbee.  However, the sport has dropped the "Frisbee" from its name and is now known simply as Ultimate.

Oh, I have my days. Some days I have no problem getting up and moving, but others...uhh. And when those days come they seem to last a long time and it takes me a while to get my groove back. I hear ya. Totally.

I am with you.  I also hate to exercise, hate to sweat.  I try to incorporate more movement into my life in general, but I dont like structured exercise.  I do things that are fun first, exercise second, if that makes sense.  Like I went for a kayak river float yesterday(paddling).  Or swimming, gardening etc. Zumba is fun once I actually get the motovation to go.   I know I need to do more cardio.  I am in PT right now (had surgery on SI joint) so they make me exercise some there LOL    I need to get back into a routine.  Hard to start again, easy to stop.

I hate it too....but I bought a walking dvd to help me in the process.  I am having surgery on the 26th.  I am 58 and use to power walk years ago EVERYDAY and LOVED IT!!  I am hoping that I will love it again.....
