I like, far more flattering than before. FWIW, if either of my children ever forbid me to do something, we'd be having a come to Jesus talk on the spot about who the parent is and who the child is and that it was not their role to ever direct my life choices.
I am betting your boyfriend LOVED it! Much sassier!

Honestly I loved the way it looked before LT I thought your hair was very youthful and super flattering .
But everyone wants and needs a change once in a while and many of us dream of looking cute in a pixie haircut while overweight ( I at least thought my long and strong hair was one of the only things keeping my larger sized body from looking matronly ... )
In my case that moment came when my hair broke after keratin treatments combined with lots of blow drying and highlights to get jobs after I lost my weight ... I ended up growing out a horrible layered partly chin-length haircut for YEARS . I looked like a rock and roll chick .. despite never even having been to a single CONCERT ( due to a progressive irreversible hearing loss condition thats worsened by loud noises) !!
Hey its only HAIR . You can wear cute long earrings now to look feminine ... and your slim frame and pretty nicely balanced features will make the short hair look graceful .
What I think you forgot was that very few women of your generation still HAVE the ability to grow long thick hair ... as an artist and someone who always roots for You to look and feel your best I was sorry to see it go .
But its OK .. ENJOY feeling FREE now
I think it looks great - change this radical always takes a bit of getting used to, but I bet it will be much easier to style every day and I think it is way more flattering on you!!!!
I know I am clinging on to my long hair at this point - thankfully it is still thick and in good condition - but the moment it becomes "old lady hair" it's going to be chopped off into a sassy short cut and I'll start concentrating on my earrings again.
