I think it looks great, and makes you look younger!. I too wore my hair long for years and always wanted a short sassy cut,my hubby was a lot like your boyfriend, not too short please...but I'll let you in on  a secret I've learned as a hairstylist for the last 26 years....after a few days they don't even notice anymore, it just becomes part of who you are.  I used my long hair as a security blanket for years thinking it was the only redeeming quality I had....not anymore!

I think it's great - you look adorable!  I got my hair cut even shorter than that and I really LOVE it.  So easy to take care of, and I have natural curl too now that the length is shorter.  I think we look sweet and sassy!  HA!
