Thank you for sharing.  I am actually just in the beginning stages...waiting for insurance approval so I am very tense and having all sorts of thoughts on am I doing the right thing and am I really ready for such a big leap? Am I just leaping from one extreme to the other?

It is wonderful to hear that this procedure actually works on real people with real issues.  I read a lot of the posts here and it has given me a realistic view on what to expect, what to do, what not to do etc.

Congrats on your success.  You may not consider yourself a success story but when you consider that you have lost the weight and are keeping it off that is a success in and of itself.  I wish you happiness and continued success.

Thanks for your post. I am 9 days out and wishing I never did this. I have an infection at the drain incision site, my tummy and legs are super swollen. Calling surgeon tomorrow but hoping its just bc I was on iv for 5 days. I'm very tired but trying to walk as much as possible. Needless to say I'm not even weighing bc I probably weigh, ore than pre surgery. Just wish I could turn back the clock and not have done this.
