I consider myself proof of that. I've been feeling sorry for myself because I have been losing weight really slowly. Last night I ended up back in ER in excruciating stomach pain and nausea. They think its my gastritis again or an ulcer got sent home with carafate and was given zofran and pain meds through iv last night needless to say I'm miserable and unable to really eat or drink anything. I see my surgeon tomorrow for my 6 month post op appt and next week the gastroenterologist. Well after not sleeping all night I had my sleep study follow up appointment from my 2nd sleep study. I got diagnosed with sleep apnea July 2012 and have been on Cpap since. Well I was told today I am no longer displaying any signs of sleep apnea meaning I no longer need my machine/mask my weight loss at 6 months post op has already resolved my obstructive sleep apnea. Makes everything I have and am going through so worth it!!!! Yes a sleep study was done before I am stopping my Cpap therapy didn't want to stop without knowing for sure. Well folks I finally after a little over a year get to put this machine away for good!!!

Awesome news! And I don't think you are losing slowly, you are doing great!

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the fact that although you are going through a tough time that you can also see the positive side. You are inspirational. Well done for going of the Cpap.
