How long did your weight loss go on and how much did you average after 6 months?
Just wondering. My surgeon and dietician say i am right on track but i still feel like i am losing slow. My surgeon also did say i had a few setbacks which is true.. my herniated disc, etc. I am down just about 64 lbs since surgery and about 106 lbs since started my program in Oct 2012 surgery was Mar 2013. I am stuck in a stall right now but as of this morning i've lost more weight towards the weight i gained so i am 1 pound away from being where i was at 3 weeks ago. My surgeon said i probably will lose past a year some people are just slower. I won't hit maintenance for a while but i look at it as frustrating but good too because i will lose for a while even if it's slow. So how long did you all lose for? How many pounds were you averaging a month after 6 months out? I see people are still losing sometimes over 4 lbs a week when they are 8+ months out.

Thank you for posting this, because I was beginning to feel like the original poster, that I was losing too slow, but based on what you have posted here, it appears, I'm right on track. And yes I know we are all different, I may lose more or less in some months, but it gives me (for the lack of a better word) something to compare my weight loss to. Have a great weekend!

HW: 400 , Consult weight: 342, Surgery weight 314 , Current weight 214....I had surgery in May of 2011..I have only in the past month or so lost 100 lbs since surgery. At 6 months I had lost I believe 72 lbs. Im truly a slow loser but as long as Im losing its good...course now it takes working my ass off but it is what it is and im just grateful for all ive lost that I CAN work my ass off instead of struggling to be physically active.
