First NSV
Hi All,
I am currently 3 1/2 weeks post op and just had my first NSV :) Before surgery, I had gotten to where I wasn't wearing my seatbelt when I drive (bad I know!) because it was so hard to fasten it. My husband has been driving me pretty much everywhere since surgery (can you say a little over protective??), but he just left on a business trip, so I'm on my own. Yesterday I drove my car and found the seatbelt was so much looser that I could actually pull my seat up a little! Today I drove his car (where the seatbelt was always a little tighter) and it went around me no problem! I was so excited!

At 282 you cannot get the seatbelt around you? That really surprises me.
As for the OP...YEAH FOR YOU!! :)
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Thanks! It's so exciting when you can start to feel the difference. I actually just had another one this morning. I went to get my hair done. The salon where I go recently got all new chairs which are pretty small and I've been really uncomfortable in them (basically I had to force my big butt in them!). But today I slid in much easier and was much more comfortable. I'm hopeful that by next month there will even be a little extra room in the chair!
