Hi, congrtulations to my fellow losers. I have a guestion, just tha last month, stomach feels fine, tolerating a lot of foods, but, now when I sit down to eat, first bite, my stomach gets a sick feeling, almost don't want to eat, hate the sick feeling. Also, this started also about a month ago also, when I take a drink of water with my pills first thing in the morning, I get the sick feeling, do any of u know is this normal.

Also, I just ate a big smiley cookie, want to test dumping, and I can eat it but not making any habit of sweets, does this mean, in your opinion, I am not a dumper, first time I ever did this since May 7th, day of surgery, I am almost 5 months out, I guess. Need help on the sick feeling, and a answer to the dumping question. Appreciate your input. I do not or have not ate a lot of carbs, pasta, potatoes, rice,or bread, so I am not worried about the one cookie. God Bless

You are feeling sick when you eat, but you chose to test how you'd feel by eating a giant cookie? Am I understanding this correctly?

And being sick (or not) on something today makes no guarantee of how your body will feel in the future. I eat pork roast no problem 99% of the time. Had it last night and threw up because it just did not sit well with me.

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

U are soooooo right, I thought it might make my body feel better, that was STUPID, don't really know why I did that, it makes no sense to me, I have not tested waters before, why I did that was a poor choice. I quests maybe I wanted to test the water, but, I don't understand why when I sit down for dinner, lunch, breakfast, I get this other feeling, like I can eat the food, not throwing up, just get this feeling of an empty feeling, like nothing taste good. I am in my 60's so I know better, and have been following my Dr to a T. Just don't know why all of a sudden, water in the morning gives me the same feeling as when I eat, it's not nausea, it's so hard to explain. Thanks for replying, any ideas why I get that semi sick flu like symptom when I eat, or first drink of water in the morning? God Bless

Why not call your doctor's office and ask their advice?

I am also nearly 4 months out and I have a similar issue. I also could eat anything till a week ago, but now I am slightly nauseous after every meal. Also do not know what triggered it.

I am about 4 1/2 months out. I never know from meal to meal. I will be doing well eating the same thing then boom, I get that sick feeling. I just stop eating and wait a few days for eating that food again. I am learning to listen to my body
