Vanity-I went to a consignment sale today and was out in the communal dressing room and stripped down to a bra and panties and felt 100% comfortable doing so!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
This is a great thread idea! Some interesting goals! :)
I'm almost to my weight goal being one year out, but having endless clothing choices is a goal I didn't know I wanted, but am enjoying!
I was over the weight limit before surgery for ziplining, but now I'm well below and can go anywhere!
Walk a few miles without getting sore and tired - I've done 3-5K's this summer.
I want to get back onto horses - I never felt it was fair to ride a horse at over 275lbs, so now that I am 120 lbs less, I want to start saving money to start riding again. :) That's my biggest goal.
I am not at goal yet - on the way...
Today I found my spine. I was reaching around to scratch my back and there were pointy vertebrae back there.
I want to be smaller than I have ever been since puberty... I hit that goal in 2 more pounds. (I am 41, so that was a long time ago).
I am doing the couch to 5K program. I hope to run a 5k from start to finish one day.
I'd like to be able to get into a size 4.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I'm just about at goal and I have seen so many achievements in the last year, its hard to list them all....from the bath towel wrapping all the way around me and doubling up to riding roller coasters or sitting on a small waiting room chair without worries. I love that I can wear shorts and spend a day out in the heat of the summer and not be a miserable, wilting, sweaty mess.
But right now the greatest achievement is that when someone tells me I look great, I actually believe them (finally!!). For so long I hated my looks so much that any compliment I received seemed like it was just not possibly true. And now I like what I see in the mirror and when I'm complimented I am not convinced they are lying. And the confidence I have now seems to be bringing great things my way....I'm being better recognized at work (recent promotion and a big deal award I'm getting next week for my accomplishments), I'm finding it easier to make new friends and getting involved more in my community.
