Is it rare to have absolutely no food intolerances?
No, it's pretty common. And it won't hurt you in the long run. You'll need to make good food choices, just like those that have some food intolerances, that's all.

I haven't had any sensitivities or dumping issues either, and I can definitely eat more than I think a newbie should be able to (I'm almost 4 weeks out)... it bothers me a little too, especially since I'm not good at gaging fullness and I wasn't given specific guidelines for measuring food. I've had some discomfort from overeating here and there, but nothing else. I definitely think it means I have to be even more careful and make sure to make good choices, especially the further out I get.
You should really focus on measuring your food, even if you weren't given guidelines to. The reason you can eat more than you think you should be able to is probably because you can't tell you're full yet since your nerve endings that were cut and restitched aren't healed at this point. Maybe talk to your nutritionist about how much you should be eating and start that conversation. You don't want to stretch your pouch too much! :)

CW 190!!! GW Anything under 200 was the icing on the cake...going for 170...lil more icing never hurt anybody!
I hope that your will power is excellent. I don't even want to test some things because knowing it won't hurt kind of opens pandora's box. I suppose I'm not ready to test those waters - good lucky on your journey. I think the best mindset would be we are always able to do anything consequences or no - but choosing not to even go there is a sure testament of strength and discipline.
So far I haven't had any problems as well but as I am only 3 months out I am not eating a lot. I am following my plan and eating only what my nut said it was ok and I haven't eaten sweets yet, so I have no idea if I dum*****t. But not having problems makes me anxious too. I am afraid of not making the right choices but I guess worrying about it is good and shows how much I don't want it. So I guess we only have to take one day at a time and keep making good choices...Unfortunetly there is no magic potion for not wanting to fall back into old habits....
