Endoscopy tomorrow nervous even though i have had one before.

Tomorrow morning is my 2nd endoscopy since April. Had stomach pain immediately after RNY was shown i had gastritis and acid reflux mild at that time. Took carafate for a while got better was told i could stop it and now having stomach pain and nausea again. Been on carafate again and not helping.. also been on an antacid since surgery in March. Gastroenterologist is worried i have an ulcer now.. unless my gastritis has just gotten worse. I always get nervous being put under though even if it's just a sedative.  I am wondering what they are going to do now with whatever they see. How do they treat a possible ulcer if carafate is not working? I know in the ER i was given protonix and it has helped a lot this past week and i've been eating a bit more. I don't know if something with the IV protonix helped temporarily some or not.. but i am in pain again! Nausea and getting full much quicker as well. Wish me luck!
