I had to ask ladies personal question about extremeties?
I have noticed this and kind of embarrassed bringing it up but was wondering if anyone else noticed this?
I have lost 180 lbs my highest was 401 lbs and i am now 220 lbs. Ahem ummm upon "shaving" this morning i noticed my vaginal area is fatty and looks like extra skin as well as it's wrinkly. I also have a lot of this in the upper inner thighs when my legs are together it's pretty wrinkly. Has anyone else had this problem??? Someone told me the vaginal area does become flabby as well when you have loose skin due to weight loss but it's just ugly and a lot of extra space for nothing now lol.. do surgeons even take hanging skin off of that area if you ask?? Haha anyone think i am crazy yet? I have never seen this part brought up in regards to hanging skin before.
They do, in fact, perform a lift on this area. Do a search for mons lift and you'll find all sorts of videos and pictures. O_o
I'm only 11 days post op so I have no answers to much of anything, lol. But, HOLY COW, that's not an area I had even considered becoming flappy. I haven't seen it in years so outta sight, outta mind! Looking forward to the answers you get.
I assume when we are fat, we grow extra skin everywhere and when we lose weight, you can end up with excess skin everywhere. yeah, they can remove skin from that area.

So there are two options I know of.
One is a mons lift and that is when the mons itself droops down and retains some level of volume OR is just a lot of skin. Then there is labia rejuvenation surgery where you can have the lips reduced and tightened and give you a more 'youthful' appearance. I did have to snicker a bit when one surgeon referred to it that way.
HTH! And you if you ask on the plastics forum, you might get all sorts of great information there!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
