Today is an awesome day that reminds me of how far I've come in just a few short months.  The past few years over the holidays, I just didn't have the energy/stamina to decorate the house. If I went to the garage and grabbed one box, brought it in, and unpacked it, I was exhausted.  I was even winded just bringing in the box!  Today, I brought in all the boxes, decorated the house from head to toe, and still had energy left to bring all of the empty boxes and unused items back to the garage and store them neatly away.  I'm amazed at how much energy and stamina I have after just a few months.  I feel like I've finally reclaimed my life!  Can't wait for husband to get home to see what I did.  (I did this secretly while he was out for most of the day as a surprise).  For all of you who are struggling, embrace these moments!  This is what this journey is all about...at least in my humble opinion.

Wishing you all very Happy Holidays!!

That's what I am finding so great too. I am just over 4 months out and feel better than I have in years. I know it's just not the weight loss, cuz I lost with the lap band, but always felt fatigued. Maybe it's all these vitamins we take. Whatever it is, I can run circles around the 40 year olds these days. LOL

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
