I had my revision surgery on August 13 and am shocked that I am now 1 lb from my goal weight on New Year's Eve. I had some post surgery complications for about 8 weeks, where I regretted having this surgery, but now, I feel that it is the best thing I could have done for myself. I feel so much different having the lap band removed and living as an RNY person. I don't have any intolerances, take my vitamins religiously, drink my fluids and get in my exercise. If I wasn't losing weight, I would think that I didn't even have RNY as I just haven't had any problems eating normally. I haven't felt this good in years. I started this journey wearing a size XL top and 12-14 bottoms, and I am now is a S-M top and a size 4 pant. I just want to wish you all a very Happy New Year and than you all for your inspiration and education. This forum has been so helpful to me in my ongoing journey.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
