Obese me: I HAVEN'T LOST ANY WEIGHT IN TWO WEEKS!

Rational me: You know this happens sometimes, it is only natural for your body to need time to adjust - and you yourself said you were doing this for the long haul and you weren't on a timetable-

Obese me:  But... I HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING IN TWO WEEKS!

Rational me: Yes, so you said, but you've lost almost 90 pounds from your highest weight

Obese me: I don't care... I haven't lost anything in two weeks!

Rational me: Seriously, you are getting closer and closer to your goal weight, and you knew that the pounds would be tougher to shed, and from the beginning this was about your health and well being not your weight

Obese me: No, you don't understand -I haven't lost any weight in two weeks!

Rational me: Um, right, got that... You are doing everything you should be and nothing you shouldn't be, you are healthier than you've ever been in your entire life

Obese me: But... I HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING IN TWO WEEKS!

Rational me: Sigh...

My Dad always told me, " Son it's alright to talk to yourself as long as you don't start answering back".  As long as it's in your head it's o.k., if you start arguing out loud, then it's a problem. LOL  Me, I'll probably stand on my scales and start yelling at the scales when this happens.  My wife will say, " Why are you yelling at the scales, they can't hear you".

Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".

This is so true. It just seems so funny to see what's rattling around in our heads on paper or screen. Hee Hee
