I don't know why. What does your doctor say?
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

Sounds like it is time for you to have a comprehensive physical. On-going nausea and diarrhea must be treated immediately to avoid serious problems.
Call you doctor tomorrow and get in to see him/her ASAP, and then ask to schedule the full physical. Take good care of yourself!

This might sound a little simple... but could your nausea and diarrhea be caused by lactose intolerance? I was sick for several months before I figured out that my protein powder contained lactose... and was making me sick. When I switched to a 99% lactose free protein .... My diarrhea and nausea went away.
Kidney stones can form if you are taking calcium carbonate. WLS patients need to take calcium citrate. You will also have issues with kidney stones if you are not getting enough water. Doctors say at least 64 oz. I know that if I don't get at least 120 oz of fluid daily... I have problems. Everyone is different and maybe you need to find your own balance by experimenting with fluid levels.
