Hi Topher! I'm so glad :) I love them too and it's nice to know others do too :) enough people contribute every day that I figure it's helpful. And even more just view it. I used to be a lurker lurker lurker. Pre-op mostly. Now I like contributing and more so, I like seeing what other people are eating, to keep me accountable and give me food ideas! It's so interesting to see how lenient people are. I may seem lenient because I am eating tuna tartar at less than a month out :) I am sooooo sticking to lean proteins and no carbs (they are my downfall) but I see most people further out have added them back in. It scares me! I don't know if I can be this rigid for the next 50 years but nor can I have 2 tbsp of angel hair pasta. More like half a box ;) sorry for rambling! Hope your weekend is off to a good start!

I will comment on your "lenient" remark LOL    Be careful, each of us has to work our plan and realize what they can and cant eat in moderation.  For me I have learned that I can NOT have baked chips in the house, I rationalize to myself that they are "just" potatoes..... not, I ate the whole bag.    I can not have honey roasted peanuts around either, I ate the whole can in just a few days, one handful at a time.   Those snacky type foods get me every time!

Are you eating enough for being 20 months out? just curious because I'm 10 months out and I eat WAY more than that. That's like, 2 months out portions

I will assume that rice sits well in your pouch? I have heard other's say, that rice does not sit well, and it usually comes back up.. Just curious.

Oh yes.  I have a pouch of steel. I can eat anything, except sugar.  I try to be protein forward .. and get the meat in first, but I eat rice and pasta and bread at times.  Every diet I have ever failed at involved restricting food - which only made me want it 10 times more.  I use my RNY to limit portions, watch my calories, take my vitamins and get my exercise.

There were some things that did not sit well early on... like broccoli and things with peels.  I still don't do steak I cannot chew really well.
