A few things!!

#1 - I finally admitted i needed help and have sought out therapy i had my 1st visit yesterday and will go back next week. Continuously every week. I think this is very important with this surgery

#2 - I will also have a psychiatrist who can prescribe me some anti-anxiety meds and i need them. My psychologist told me he would be calling me soon.

#3 - I BROKE A 2.5. week stall and have been eating a whole lot better than i was.. i may occasionally have a bite of ice cream of something but i am no longer buying fiber one bars and eating 4 a day or weigh****chers ice cream bars and eating 5 of those a day... this really decreased my carb consumption. I replaced these items with cottage cheese, cheese sticks, lunch meat, bananas, and of course my quest bars.

#4 - I bought a tempurpedic bed today that will be delivered Sunday my bed i've had 6 years and it has springs and they have started to pop out its worn out. I am hoping this helps some with my herniated disc in my back. I heard the tempurpedic beds are amazing it was $2700 but hopefully worth the investment its a tempurpedic cloud.

Anyway good news for today anyway =)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

I am so happy for you!  I am so glad you are taking the steps to turn things around for yourself to give you the best opportunity to have lasing success.

I would love a Tempupedic but I don't have the money :(  I did buy a memory foam mattress last  year.  First new mattress in my life.  I figured at my age I need to have a decent bad to help reduce the aches and pains that were getting worse with every passing year.  Things really do seem better after a good night's sleep.

So - it sounds like things are going much better for you and you're back on track - YAY!

Alos, re the bed - absolutely the BEST investment you will make for your health (after WLS!). I've had my new bed for about a year and I sleep sooooo much better - my bed is awesome - you're going to love it!
