I weigh myself every single day. I do not track the weight unless I have held that weight for a week meaning I am currently weighing in at 184 as of last Friday (if you look at my ticker it says 185). Once I have held that weight for a week I will track the number. Despite the fact that I don't have a uterus-my weight goes up about 4 pounds every month and then goes back down a few days later. Additionally, I usually am 3-4 lbs up every night but that is gone after multiple night peeing sessions.
I weigh daily and track and I am nearly a month out. As I progress towards my goal, I'd like to move into a once a week mode.
My PCP has a free weigh in program - weekly Tuesday or Thursday night, stop by and they record/track it. For me, an extra pair of eyes helps keep me accountable.
Maybe you can track something else other than your weight - like steps or calories or fluid intake.
I'm 12 yrs out and weigh once a year before my check up with surgeon. I weighed more often the first year then put the scale away. The best advice you can get? Throw it away. You and
your husband don't NEED it. It doesn't contribute to who you are, how successful you are or what kind of person you are. Have one available like at your doctor's office if you need
to weight but don't do it all the time at home. It's a horrible habit and we put way too much "weight" on numbers. Your success isn't based on your current weight. check your
how do they fit? How do you feel? are you more energetic? use that for a guideline.

I weigh everyday, once. In the morning when I first get out of bed.
I do this as, for me, it serves as a barometer with regard to how I am going to eat that day. If my weight is up at all, I am much more watchful about what I eat.
I have maintained my weight for five-plus years weighing in each day.
