Just have to share a NSV
I am sitting here, playing with my 6yo, who is pretending to be a chef and making me a meal. He just brought me a plate with (as described by him) lean protein, lettuce and a whole wheat roll. He insisted I ate the protein first. Of course, the plastic food was a pizza, fries and donut.
My healthy choices don't just impact me, but they are making a lasting impression on the most important people in my life :)
That is wonderful! And what a strong message about how much our choices impact the others in our lives...you should be proud of setting such a good example for your little man, you are setting him up for a lifetime of good health. Kudos to you!

That is awesome to hear.We always think the kids are not paying attention to us. But they see and hear everything.I have a son who is 20 and him and I were talking about the weight issues I have had all of my life.Well I come to find he is using my fitness pal to figure out what he should be eating and logging his protein carbs.I was really proud of him.It is great your kids are young and you can lead my example.
