One week down , one to go

Well I will have the first week in the bag after today and my scales showed 268.5 this morning.  They are usually 2 pounds higher than the Doctor.  So I believe I'm down about 10 pounds in 7 days.  I go for my pre-op next Wednesday and will see what his scale says then.  I am still holding strong.  The Lord has blessed me with great resolve.  With his help I will make it to surgery and stick to the program.  I fully expect to have a stall not to far out from surgery.  When it happens I will ride it out and stay on track.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend and a good week coming up.

Starting my liquids this week, I find your posting inspiring! You can do it and good luck with your pre-op! My appointment is tomorrow.

If your Surgeon allows it make sure you keep sugar free jello and popsicles handy.  I also have found beef broth with a little hot spice added helps me get through the afternoon.  Just take it one day at a time.  I work around food on both of my jobs, so it has been really hard at times.  If I can make it anyone can.  God bless you and stay in touch.  My surgery is Feb. 3, can't wait.

Your doing great!  I know I was miserable during the preop diet, but honestly I can hardly remember it now!

That's great! Good luck next week. Those last few days will be over before you know it and you will be on your way to a new life and a much happier you.

What I've found for myself in the past 16 months (down 255 lbs) is that there are ups and downs but your journey is yours. No one else can do it for you. You can do this. Amelia

Stevewebb.. Way to go! I have 1 day left after today. Surgery is Tuesday. I have to tell you your posts have inspired me and has helped me through these two week! I can't imagine doing this and working with food, I thought it was hard just having 4 kids! 

Keep up the good work, this last week will fly by. Btw I'm sooo nervous for surgery Tuesday but also very excited! 

Thank you Ocean, I'll pray the Lord blesses your surgery and everything comes out ok.  I try to be uplifting and encourage people.  I've learned a lot and have learned what to expect through all this.  Working around food like I do has been really hard, but I am going from counting up in days to counting down the days now.  Only seven more and I've got it whipped.  I don't know about you but I'm losing weight pretty good right now.  God bless you.
