I usually drink two or three big cups of beef broth in the afternoon when I'm the hungriest.  I drink three protein shakes during the day and have really good plain Greek yogurt at night. About a cup full and mix some different flavors of sugar free koolaid to sweeten and flavor it.  I also eat sugar free jello at home and work and sugar free popsicles at home.  It still takes a lot of determination but you can do it.  If your starving drink decaf coffee or broth it really helps my stomach.  I work around food all day in a large Jail kitchen.  I'm an Officer here and it's taken will power at times but I am going to be ok.  I've leaned on the Lord a lot and asked him to give me strength and resolve and he has.  Hang in there and I'll pray for you tonight.  Keep in touch and I'll encourage you all I can.  God bless you.

Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".

Are you getting any of the snow here in nc tonight.   Hope you are able to get your preop visit in on schedule.  This storm should be history by your surgery date.   Congratulations on your loss!

WHOOP WHOOP. Sounds like you are doing great with your pre op plan - you'll do great post op, I'll bet. I didn't have a pre op diet phase so cannot even imagine what you're going thru. I don't do well when I can't chew my calories. LOL Wishing you the best as you near the BIG day.
